Know what the signal means — and what it doesn’t.
What is VendorWindow?
VendorWindow is a B2B sales-intelligence service for Seattle-area commercial security sellers. It organizes lawful public commercial-record activity into timing signals intended to help teams prioritize research and outreach.
Does a signal mean the buyer is definitely shopping for security?
No. VendorWindow does not provide guaranteed purchasing intent. A signal means a relevant public commercial event was identified and analyzed. The customer must make their own judgment about whether and how to pursue the opportunity.
Why does freshness matter?
Timing is the product. Old records can still be useful background, but they should not be presented as fresh activity. VendorWindow makes signal age and event timing part of the decision.
What kinds of public records are used?
Current supported classes include Seattle building permits, trade permits, business-license starts, temporary/final certificates of occupancy, and same-address multi-event patterns, subject to public source availability.
Is VendorWindow affiliated with a government agency?
No. VendorWindow is an independent analytical service and does not claim government affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.
Do I need a demo call?
No. The customer path is designed to be self-serve: free sample, pricing, checkout, sign-in, and one-step onboarding.
How does checkout mode work?
The pricing page clearly labels the active Stripe environment. TEST MODE is sandbox-only and does not represent a real payment. LIVE BILLING means the displayed $49/month founding subscription is real. The founding checkout is limited to the first 25 completed subscriptions.
How do I cancel?
Signed-in customers can open Manage billing from the VendorWindow feed and cancel future renewal through Stripe’s customer portal without a required retention call.
Are the records on the Free Sample page current leads?
No. They are clearly labeled historical/demo public-record examples and are not presented as fresh leads.
